Second Annual Casino Night!

It's baaaack!  Miracle League of MA's ever-popular Casino Night is back for its second year! A night filled with laughing, gambling, bidding, and meeting new friends will ensue on the last Saturday this month. Tickets include chips to get you started for the night, access to the open bar, and hors d'oeuvres galore.  We'll have a live auction and tons of raffles.  The prize list is always growing but some of the top items include Bruins tickets and the Sam Adams Bucket of Cheer and Beer for a Year!

When? March 30th, that's a Saturday, at 7 pm.

Why? To raise money for the League, all the funds will go directly to the children of MLM. We just built a new field of dreams this past year and are looking to add bleachers and other enhancements in the near future. Find out more about the work your money does on our website.

Get To Know...Coach Joe

Coach Joe absolutely loves Miracle League (we're certain the feeling is mutual). In his own words: "I look forward to each MLM game and count the weeks leading up to the season. Through the seasons, I cherish the relationships I have built and grown with the players. Nothing gets me more than an unexpected hug from a player. Equally touching is to have a player share something personal that happened to them that week leading up to game day."

Coach Joe's enthusiasm on the field is matched by his enthusiasm for his family! He's married to the beautiful Lynn Vesey (28 years now!) and is a proud father of two lovely girls, Allison and Kayla (who have been buddies before). Joe works for GlobalWare Solutions, an eCommerce fulfillment/distribution and supply chain company. Besides spending time at work, with us, and with the family, Joe dedicates a lot of his time to the First Baptist Church of Littleton, Mass. And if there is one item he uses more than his baseball glove, its his passport! Joe and Lynn are world travelers! Some of the greatest traveling fans on the planet, (really Lynn more than Joe), the pair just returned from BVI Tortola! It is clear Coach Joe makes a point to get the most out of life, spending just about every moment doing something he loves. We can all learn from Joe to make the most of life by doing what we enjoy and enjoying what we do!

 

Bruins Tix up for grabs tomorrow!

For those of you attending Oktoberfest in West Acton (we'll be there 10-4), the "Running with Henry" event, or the Miracle League games this Saturday, you are in luck! And for those of you who aren't, you should seriously reconsider!! We are raffling off Bruins Tickets (at the games and Oktoberfest!) for Monday, December 19th at 7 pm! Who are they playing? The loathed Canadiens!  Be there to see the B's put an end to their flopping!

We have 2 tickets; Loge seats, section 8, row 24.  Face value is $79 per ticket.  And, all of the proceeds will be going to Miracle League of MA, in our quest to build a turf field!

Casino Night News: Open Bar and New Prizes!!

It's hard to believe, I know...but the Casino Night planners have done it.  They just made Casino Night even better!!! As you know, this Saturday, the 17th, you are invited to the Concord Elks Lodge (in, well, where else? Concord, MA) at 7 pm for a night of craps, roulette, black jack and more!!  You can still purchase the discounted tickets for $50 here, or $60 at the door. And, of course those tickets come with chips (there will also be a chip bank for those of you vying for the big prizes) but now those tickets come with more....an open bar! Yes, it's okay to smile!!
