Get To Know...Buddy Andrew

Andrew is in his final semester as an MBA candidate at UMass Boston. Despite having a hectic schedule, this full-time student manages to fit his favorite hobbies in. From sailing to skiing to fishing, he loves to relax and unwind in the outdoors. When the weekend hits, Andrew loves heading to Miracle League to meet his new buddy each week. when he's not playing catch with one of our wonderful players, he's engaging in one of his favorite hobbies: home-brewing (hence his favorite site listed below). He makes his own beer and has been doing so for just over a year now. Let's get to know buddy Andrew.

My favorite part of Miracle League is...the feeling you get when you see how excited your buddy gets when he or she hits a home run.
My favorite baseball team is...the Boston Red Sox.
My favorite player is...The Laser Show.
When I'm not watching baseball, my favorite show is...anything on the Discovery Channel.
My drive to ML on Saturdays is...usually a little hectic because were usually a little late and have no time for Dunks.
My favorite website is...Homebrewtalk.com.
To relax I...go for a sail in the summer or hit the slopes in the winter.
My dream vacation is...Australia or New Zealand.
Best advice I've ever heard is...a fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.
The best movie ever is...The Departed.
If I could meet any three celebrities, living or dead I'd pick...JFK to ask him what he would have liked to accomplish that he didn't get to do, Larry Bird so he could teach me how to drain 3's, and Roberto Luongo to ask him what it felt like to lose Lord Stanley's Cup.

Andrew loves brewing beer and learning via Discovery Channel. His dream vacation probably sounds like a good idea to most of us. And, good thing we're all B's fans because that question for Luongo seems like a tough one! Know what's not a tough one? Figuring out what's so great about MLM, and Andrew has done just that!
